- de Carteret: The 1901 census shows Elizabeth Malet de Carteret (1842- ) living here with her son Charles Edward (1870- ), an advocate at the time and a future Bailiff. Elizabeth was married to the Seigneur of St Ouen, Edward Charles Malet de Carteret. At this time St Ouen's Manor was undergoing a major restoration, not completed until 1904, and Edward Charles was living at Vinchelez de Bas Manor

This mid-19th century, three-bay side entrance villa, with its associated outbuildings forms a group which contributes to the roadside setting. Each building retains its historic proportions and character. The house was uninhabited in the late 20th century, and severely damaged by fire in the early 21st century. It was subsequently renovated.
