An important example of a 17th century farm house with good interior and exterior survival. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
Four-bay, two-storey house with two-storey, three-bay old shed/new build on the west, single storey, two-bay farm building on the east. Base of pigsties on west wall.
Two doorways at the back have stone surrounds, with a small niche between them. The fireplace on the west has large granite corbels and a timber lintel. Stone in centre of wall in lean-to may be part of original tourelle staircase. Stone door surround on first floor. First floor east room has large granite fireplace.
