Notes and references

  1. Some references show Elizabeth Gallichan, but this is believed to be incorrect
  2. Daniel Bisson "fils Benjamin" of St Helier married in 1776, at St John. The father, Benjamin Bisson, was described in the Trinity Register in 1755 as residing in St Helier but was married and buried in his and his son Daniel`s native parish of Trinity. Initials engraved at Le Mottais Farm, St John: "DBS.EM 1785". There are also initials for Daniel`s son and namesake, and his wife: "DBS.FDLC 1819"; (Stevens, Joan, Old Jersey Houses, Volume 2, 212)
