Family from St Peter and St Lawrence. The family name is variously spelt Jandron and Jeandron in records. It has now been suggested that Jacques was the son of Francois Jeandron ( -1743) and Marie Villeno ( -1743) and had siblings Francois (1714-1791), Pierre ( -1786) and Maturin ( -1758). 9. ↑ Mary Jane was born in Melbourne, Australia, and returned to the family home of Jersey in 1869, at the age of 14. Her father died when she was only eight. Both her younger brothers died within a year of birth and Mary Jane was left on her own when her mother died in 1868.
