A good example of a mid-17th century cottage with dower house, which retains its character, and has many original features. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

Set back, two-storey, three-bay cottage with two-storey, two-bay dower.

Inscribed lintel over central entrance door to cottage. Former exterior granite staircase now partially incorporated into first floor conservatory extension to dower.
