Francois Louis Auguste Le Lerre and Marie Josephine Colomb Blondel with their daughter Louise. The couple were married in Normandy in 1889 and Louise was born in Jersey the following year

Le Lerre was a thief.

The name did not appear in Jersey until the late 1880s, although there was probably a family spelling the name Le Lere some centuries earlier, which died out.
