Single-storey vernacular house with circa 17th century origins, retaining historic character and features. Relatively early south wing with good quality stonework. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
Originally three-bay, single-storey house, with L-plan range adjoining to west. Front elevation: pitched slate roof with dressed granite chimney, with dripstones, to roadside gable. Dressed stone verges to gables.
