Historic Environment Record entry
Listed building
Circa 1800-1820, with possible mid-18th century origins. The house appears to be mid to late 18th century, extended and modernised by Nicolas Pallot, probably commemorated by the 1820 datestone. At that time, there was a staircase with square stick balusters and simple turned newel post; similar to many others of early 19th century date. Beams were small with beaded edges of 19th rather than 18th century pattern.
Recent renovations revealed the simple stone kitchen hearth, with 18th century stone corbels.
Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
