Listed building

A fine example of a mid-18th century farmstead with early 19th century alterations.

Exceptionally well proportioned and crafted Georgian main house, with outbuildings and coach house still surviving. Unusual late 19th century dovecote and walled orchard.

Farm group includes a complex of different structures relating to traditional farming in Jersey.

Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

Farmhouse with adjacent stores and cider press. Returning east parallel to the farmhouse range is a stone wall with south facing glasshouse to one side and small lean-to single storey store to north side. Parallel to the north face is a coachhouse with extension to south east end and detached pigsties to west end. At the west end of the rear yard is an apple crusher. Stone walls with slate roof.

Large walled orchard to south of house. In wall running south from east gable near house are 19th century railings and gate leading on to road. Further along wall facing road a datestone 1748.
