  1. HER records this stone as 17 IDE AVJ 39 and attributes it to Jean Dolbel and Jeanne Gasnier. The reading and attribution are entirely wrong. There was a marriage of Jean Dolbel and Jeanne Gasnier in St John, but that was in 1798, 59 years after this stone was erected
  2. Although the marriage is confirmed from our database, we have not been able to place this couple in any of our family trees
