Sunnydale was originally a mid-19th century farm group called Maison de Bas. It was sub-divided and converted to residential units in the 20th century.
The main house is five-bay, two-storey, rendered with a modern pantile roof and pair of brick chimneystacks (apparently rebuilt early 20th century).
