Unusual survival of single storey farmstead, circa 1700s origins, which retains its historic character and many original features. Building on north side has long-and-short window surrounds suggesting earlier 18th century origin.
Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
Unusual farm group clustered around yard, all now converted to residential. Principal farmhouse to west of yard - single storey, attic, five-bay. Steeply pitched pantile roof with 2 raking dormers, dressed granite chimneys with thatch dripstones.
Lower cottage wing to north in similar style, returns to east with central dressed granite and rubble chimney. Leads to old coach house: single storey, vehicle entrance to west.
To south of yard: detached barn, similar style to other buildings, now residential.
