Historic Jersey buildings La Frontiere, Trinity Unlike its namesake in St Mary, this La Frontiere was not built on a road which, rightly or wrongly, is believed to have been the boundary between the part of the island occupied by the French in the 15th century and that which remained under the control of the de Carteret family. The name has much less romantic origins in the proximity of the property to the boundary between St Saviour and Trinity. A mid-19th century farmstead retaining original character, with a rare survival of a late 19th century rural shop front. Stables recently converted to residential use.

Farm group consisting of main house (three and two-bay, two-storey), two-storey, four-bay wing to north on east side, farm buildings adjoining that and in yard to north.

Stone boundary wall with iron railings and gate.

Ground floor blocked doorway and 19th century shopfront with four-pane windows, door at centre, timber pilasters and fascia.
