Descendants of Marie Dolbel

The majority of online trees show the Clement Dolbel who married Elizabeth Godfray, and was the head of the St Clement branch of the family in the 19th century, as born in 1869, the son of Amice Dolbel and Elizabeth Delegel. However, Amice was born in 1760 and his wife in 1764 and they married in 1782, so they could not possibly have been Clement's parents. Clement’s baptism was registered in St Clement in 1772 to an unknown father and Marie Dolbel, suggesting that this was an illegitimate birth. The identity of Marie is not known. There were three Maries baptised in 1750-1751, none of them in St Clement. There were only nine Dolbel baptisms in St Clement, and all of these individuals are included in this tree, in addition to some for whom baptism records have not been found
