This tree was first added to the site in 2011, and extended in 2015. It was reviewed in 2018. The link between this tree at generation 5 and Descendants of Nicolas de la Cour of St Lawrence is slightly speculative. The tree was reviewed again in 2023 by Mike Bisson, who added more details and a descendant branch from Philippe and Jeanne Gallichan at generation 4. Another review resulated in the addition of a descendant line from Nicolas and Susanne Le Maistre at generation 5, and another from Philippe and Francoise Minier at generation 5

In common with the majority of our trees, this descendancy has been subject to regular review by site editors and checked against Jersey church records. Trees including French ancestry have also been checked as far as possible against French primary records.   3. ↑ It is unlikely that Philippe married Elizabeth, because his first wife was still alive and there is no record of a second marriage. It is possible that there were two different Philippes, but this has not been confirmed. Elizabeth was married to Philippe's brother Jean in 1851, as shown above, and she was free to remarry after his death in 1859. After Philippe's death in 1867, she married John Syvret at St Helier, possibly the following year, and had three further children
