Descendants of Robert Randall

Robert Randall, his wife Elizabeth and six children, moved to Jersey from Yeovil in the early 19th century. This family gave its name to an existing business creating Randall's Brewery, still present in Jersey today. Robert was malster at Minden Brewery, bought the business for his second son William Albert.

It may be coincidence, but successive entries in the St Helier marriage register for 1881 show the weddings of Thomas Kine, son of Thomas, who founded Kine's Brewery, and William Albert Randall, son of Robert Randall, who founded Randall's. The marriages were a day apart on October 18 and 19.
