Handois reservoir

Handois was the third of the island's reservoirs to be built, after Millbrook and Dannemarche. It is the highest up Waterworks Valley and was the last to be constructed before the Second World War.After the war the population explosion in the island created such demand that three further reservoirs had to be built.
