Historic Environment Record entry

Listed building

This five-bay early 19th century fronted house retains its proportions and fine stonework. Along with the outbuilding to the west it creates a cohesive group which contributes to the rural setting. The house emulates Georgian fashion but with a continuing local character.

Notes and references

  1. This stone is not included in the Datestone Register. We believe that it may have been misread, and should be AHQ ALB 1821. We have not been able to place this couple in any of our Hocquard trees
