In his 1916 will Frank Reginald Wheway, a renowned footballer, left all his football medals and Muratti cap to Walter Touzel Marett, and the lease of 16 Broad Street to Kate Atkins.

This three-storey, two-bay building has late 18th century origins and retains some early internal features.

It adds character to the streetscape, retaining decorative features and an historic shopfront.

Circa 1780s origins with later 19th century exterior features. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

Retains elements of circa 1780s interior including early staircase, panelling and fireplace.
