A fine early 19th century town house with later Victorian shopfront extension. This building appears on the 1834 Le Gros map.
Two-storey plus attic, five-bay. The house is on a different alignment to the road. The former front garden of the property was built on in the later 19th century to provide shop space. Victorian-style timber frame shop front with pilasters at each end. Glass panels divided by slender columns.
The rear elevation has been altered with a 21st century single-storey extension abutting and masking the ground floor level. Relocated datestone
