Descendants of Richard Arnold
This tree was first added to the site in 2016 and reviewed in 2018.
It was expanded in 2023 following the discovery of a descendant line in Guernsey over several generations, and generations before that in the English West Country. It must be stressed that these early generations remain to be checked against parish registers.
The children now included in generation 11 were previously shown as born in Jersey, but it seems that the family moved to the island a generation later than previously indicated
We have particular suspicions about generation 3. The spelling of several names in the early generations is uncertain and dates must be viewed as approximate

In common with the majority of our trees, this descendancy has been subject to regular review by site editors and checked against Jersey church records. Trees including French ancestry have also been checked as far as possible against French primary records. It is not always possible to carry out such checks on sections of trees with United Kingdom and/or colonial content
