Listed building
This mid-late 19th century farmhouse retains its proportions and character with historic features remaining externally. The house emulates the polite architecture of Georgian fashion but with a continuing local character. Its juxtaposition with the outbuildings to the north creates a cohesive group which contributes to the rural, roadside setting.
Former farm group of parallel plan form. Two-storey, five-bay house with two wings to west. At a slight angle to north is a range of outbuildings (part converted) now connected to the main house with a 20th century link.
The interior retains a staircase with turned balusters and mahogany handrail, some original doors and window panelling, but otherwise few historic features are retained and the interior plan has been altered.
