Early 19th century house with associated cottages and former village shop, which retains most original external features, and original internal ones.
Emulates the polite architecture of Georgian fashion but with a continuing local character.
Semi-detached house, two-storey plus attic, four-bay plus single bay cottage to east, detached cottage to south along Jambart Lane.
Includes former shop. Double fronted, hall and stairway offset to east with large room (to west and smaller room, now kitchen, to east. Apparently originally double pile, now single pile. Retains some original features, including some timber six-panel doors, timber door frames, high skirtings.
Other features: hall with flag floor, wide dogleg staircase up to attic; granite fireplace against west wall; central beam running north-south across whole room; collection of various iron hooks in exposed rafters in south-east corner of room. Timber plank doors to attic rooms.
