This mid-19th century house retains its proportions and character with fine stonework to the south elevation, emulating the polite architecture of Georgian fashion but with a continuing local character. Formerly known as Elmwood. Corner house.

St Mary Treasury

Described in the 1983 parish treasury as 'a pleasant 19th century granite house in the traditional style. Only one datestone was recorded, misread as CST.

  1. This is a rare example of a previous English name being changed to the French equivalent. Usually it works the other way
  2. This stone appears to predate the construction of the house by some 40 years
