A good example of a mid-late 19th century farm group, with evidence of earlier origins. Three-bay, two-storey farmhouse, with adjoining L-plan farm range, with yard to rear.

Other outbuildings to rear with pantile roofs, including pigsties.

Notes and references

This picture of the Le Cappelain threshing machine was taken at Clairval in 1912. It is believed to have been at this property
