The house sits in a prominent roadside position and makes a positive scenic contribution when viewed from the south and east. The west views are blocked by a very large boundary wall. Late 1840s house with outbuildings.

Adjoining to the west of the house is a later 19th century brick outbuilding. A large granite boundary wall runs along the west side of the property - the brick gable of the outbuilding showing above.
