This photograph was sent to us with the caption: 'The Jersey Island Cricket Club staged a ladies match in 1923'. We have our doubts, because none of the women in the picture are dressed for cricket. It is more likely to be a photograph of a men's team with their families, but it is difficult to make out 11 men wearing games clothing
