Listed building

A late 18th century farm group retaining original features and character. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

Single-storey, five-bay house with L-plan ranges of outbuildings, wellhead and detached bake house. Main cottage (currently called Bamboozie Cottage): single storey, attic, 5 bay, pitched pantile roof, dressed granite chimneys at ends with thatch stones, roof lights.

Small bakehouse. Granite well-head attached to west wing.

Notes and references

  1. This is an unusual retrospective datestone because Jouse and Marie married in St Helier in 1819. After Marie's death, Josue married again in 1846 to Anne Picot, and he died in 1852
