This Jerripedia family tree was first added to the site in 2016. It was assembled from a submitted tree, online trees and parish records. The Arm family, originally from Alverstoke, Hampshire, returned to live there in generation 4. The tree was reviewed in 2018 and found to have errors, which were corrected, as well as extra names and details added. This alerted us to another tree, which although also based in Grouville, had no obvious connection to this one. However, further research in 2023 by Mike Bisson identified that Henry Edward Arm did, indeed, fit into this tree as a missing son of Benjamin WIlliam and Ruth Denman. Further details were then added throughout the tree

In common with the majority of our trees, this descendancy has been subject to regular review by site editors and checked against Jersey church records. Trees including French ancestry have also been checked as far as possible against French primary records. It is not always possible to carry out such checks on sections of trees with United Kingdom and/or colonial content
