Descendants of Jean Baptiste Boullier

The personal names found in both our Boullier trees suggested that there was a link between this tree and Descendants of Aimable Paul Boullier, but we had not been unable to establish that link.

We are now satisfied that Marie Cesarine Le Blond at generation 7 came from Portbail, but she usually went by the name of Cesarine, not Marie Cesarine in Jersey. She was in Jersey by the time of the 1841 census, recorded as Cesarine, but not married to Jean Baptiste. Although they lived in St Peter, there was no Roman Catholic Church there at the time and it has now been established that they married at St Thomas' in St Helier.

Information provided in 2024 has enabled up to expand the tree by several generations. These indicate that the family lived in Denneville, Manche, Normandy (next to Portbail) before moving to Jersey, suggesting that it may not be linked to our other Boullier tree

It will be seen that details at the top of the revised tree are somewhat sketchy and we have not been able to confirm all generational links

Trees including French ancestry have also been checked as far as possible against French primary records.
