Descendants of Jean Feret - 2
The ancestry of the children at generation 2 is far from clear. From St Martin's Church marriage and burial registers it can be deduced that Jean married Thomasse Valpy in 1604, but she died in 1611, when Jean married Elizabeth Gaudin, who died the following year. Jean and Marie Nycolle were married in 1613, and she died the same year. Jean then married Rachel Lorains in 1614. It is possible that there was more than one Jean involved, but the sequence of marriages and burials suggests that the version shown in the tree is quite likely to be correct
