Matthew was a Sergeant-Major in the Royal Artillery and came to Jersey with his wife Mary and young son Matthew, presumably posted with a garrison regiment, and remained in the island after the birth of their daughter This submitted tree was added to the site in 2018 and reviewed in 2020, when more details were added
