Descendants of Nicolas Sebire



This tree was added to the site in 2013 and the top was supposedly corrected the following year, but it was still incorrect. Hopefully this has been put right by a further review in 2019, but it is not clear whether there should be three Nicolas at the top of the tree, or just two. Further details were added during 2020 and 2025 reviews, by Mike Bisson, but the remaining issues were not resolved

The position of Pierre (1750- ) at generation 3 as the son of Mathieu and Marie Hamon is open to considerable doubt. It is more likely that there was another intervening generation, or possibly that Pierre, who was born in St Saviour, fits into the tree elsewhere.

The family name appears in records as Sbire or Sebire over a prolonged period. We have standardised on Sebire
