Noel of La Sergenté, St Martin

This tree, one of four foundation trees for the Noel family, was added in 2021 by Guy Dixon. It is a different tree from the earlier Descendants of Noe Noel, which has been revised as one of the other foundation trees, Descendants of Jean Noel - 5

In common with the majority of our trees, this descendancy has been subject to regular review by site editors and checked against Jersey church records. Trees including French ancestry have also been checked as far as possible against French primary records. The `sergenté`, and the property so called, La Sergenté, was thus brought into this branch of the Noel family through the female line, in this case of the Bertram family, who previously held both the office and property of this name
