There is a question mark over the ancestry of Jean at generation 4. There is no marriage record for Jean and Elizabeth Noel, who are definitely the parents of the seven children shown. However, if Jean was born in 1731, he would have been only 16 when his first son was born - not impossible, but unlikely. Alternatively Jean may have been born in 1724, the son of another Jean
