Descendants of Philippe Quenault



This tree was first added to the site in 2012 and was checked and updated in 2018 following the submission of a new descendant line from Gedeon and Rachel at generation 8. There is confusion surrounding Philip Thomas Quenault at generation 12. The St Saviour marriage register shows that the Philip who married Elizabeth Linthorne in 1888 was Philip Francis, son of Elias. However, the St Helier baptism register shows six children of Philip Thomas Quenault and Elizabeth Linthorne

In a further review in 2019, names and dates from the Australian branch at the bottom have been copied from Descendants of George Quenault, which has now been deleted. We have also added 14 children of Jean and Elizabeth, nee Laderman, at generation 11, and further children of Jean's first cousin, George and Jeanne, nee Falle, in another part of generation 11 further down the tree

Continuing our review we have added a large number of further names from the 16th century downwards

Although the majority of baptisms and marriages were in St Saviour, some were in the adjoining parishes of St Martin and Grouville
