Although this submitted tree from 2014 has been checked against church records, we have concerns about the different parishes from generation to generation at the top of the tree and recommend that Le Cras researchers carry out further checks.

Because of the doubts about relationships in this tree, a review in 2019 has concentrated on the positions of the individuals showm, without researching other links and details. Individual notes give further indications of possible problems

In common with the majority of our trees, this descendancy has been subject to regular review by site editors and checked against Jersey church records. Trees including French ancestry have also been checked as far as possible against French primary records. It is not always possible to carry out such checks on sections of trees with United Kingdom and/or colonial content

  2. ↑ The only Pierre baptised in 1726 was the son of Pierre of St Saviour. There must be a doubt that Pierre fits into this tree
  3. ↑ The only Philippe baptised in 1813 was the son of James and Jeanne, nee Coutanche, as shown, but it is suggested in Descendants of Jacques Le Cras that he was born in 1806 to different parents
