This tree was added to the site in 2015, expanded in 2017 and reviewed again in 2018. That review established the connection from Peter Thomas Carre at generation 3 to our other Carre tree originating in Sark

In common with the majority of our trees, this descendancy has been subject to regular review by site editors and checked against Jersey church records. There are no baptism records for his children, but it is possible that he returned to Sark after a second marriage and they were born there. It is also possible that Thomas married for the third time in Grouville in 1828 to Anne Buesnel but there is no mention in the marriage register entry of his coming from Sark
