Early-mid 19th century detached house with some surviving external and internal historic features. Emulates the polite architecture of Georgian fashion but with a continuing local character. Detached, set back from road with low, random rubble stone wall, main building two-storey, five-bay, with single story east wing.
Central passage, single pile. Dog legged staircase with stick balusters with flat topped turned newel. Most doors are six-panel timber, some with reed moulded architrave. Ground floor room to the east with ceiling rose.
