Freemasons war memorial

The only private memorial to islanders who lost their lives in the Great War is in the Masonic Temple in Stopford Road.It lists 20 Freemasons who fell in the conflict, and a further six who died in the Second World War. Six of these are not known to have any Jersey connection, but may have been visiting members of the Freemasons while part of a Garrison Regiment, or staying in the island for other purposes
