This page contains pictures of observation posts, [1]built by the Germans during the Occupation as part of Hitler's Atlantic Wall, which was designed to prevent any Allied invasion of occupied territory.   1. The pictures showing the various installations were either taken during the Occupation, and have been sourced from private collectors and museum collections, or show the sites as they are today, some of these photographs being taken from the Jersey War Tours website
