Great Western Railway photographs

St Aubin in 1934

These pictures were taken for publicity purposes for Great Western Railway, which operated steamships to Jersey in the first half of the 20th century, bringing large numbers of holidaymakers to the island. They are held in the GWR Museum at Swindon. Most were taken in 1925, but some date from 1920 and others from 1930 and 1934
