Harwood's 1855 prints of Jersey scenes

One of the most valued collections of images of Jersey in the mid-19th century, before the camera took over from the artist, is to be found in Harwood's Illustrations of the Channel Islands which is available to view on line. This edition contains 28 etchings, all of Jersey, but there are others which are not in the book, and there has been a recent fashion for hand colouring prints for sale.
