This is a mid/late 19th century house with interesting associated buildings forming a group which contributes to the roadside rural setting.

The conservatory is a rare survivor. Historic features remain internally and a fine entrance doorcase externally.

Set into the roadside boundary wall is an Elizabeth II wall box (Post Box No 67) with cipher at base (cast by Allen).

Two-storey, three-bay house with single storey, single bay wing to east, single storey wing to west is old shop, now a separate dwelling. To east is 19th century lean-to conservatory. To north is old bakehouse, now attached to house, and baker's dwelling.
