An historic farmstead of 19th century character. The farmhouse retains its historic proportions, character and some features. As a group Hill Top Farm contributes to the roadside junction.
The house emulates the polite architecture of Georgian fashion but with a continuing local character. Small farmstead. Sits on road junction, west gable on one road, front of house set back from other.

The 1983 parish treasury described this as 'an interesting secretive property of standard proportions: well cared for', but did not explain why it was 'secretive'
