Historic Environment Record entry

Listed building

This early 19th century farmhouse retains its original form to the street and some historic features both internally and externally. The house dates to the early 19th century.

A contract of 5 February 1814 records the sale of the house by Philippe de Faye to Jean Monamy. The 1935 OS map shows that the house was once part of a small farmstead with an adjoining range to the rear of the house and detached outbuildings set around a central yard - all since demolished.
