Type of property

18th century house, now divided into two separate units of accommodation. House now know as Flag House. The section shown in the photograph is a new residence replacing the existing attached building in the 1980s by Mr Roberts, who owned Vinchelez Farm. That new residence, together with L’Etocquet House, became one large dwelling lived in by Mr Roberts, with the original to be known as the West wing. The houses were split and sold in 2015 with the original house being renamed as Flag House and the new house retaining the L’Etocquet House name.

The current owners, Marc and Nichola Haslam, tell us that they replaced 'those horrible pvc windows' with wooden sash windows, and sent us the more recent photograph above.

  • A 2017 listing for the sale of the property for £1.7 million relates to the larger original section, now renamed Flag House
