Principally mid-late 19th century farm group retaining some original external features of landscape value. Now on the edge of urban development, the siting of the farmstead in the landscape relates to the way in which the area has been settled through history, and the overall scale, form and character of the farmstead is the result of its historical function and development to the present day.
Remains of some older walling and cruck-like elm truss. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
Two-storey, six-bay farmhouse, single storey cross wing to west, returns to north as long granite barn.
Series of later structures in farmyard. Main entrance drive and gateway to south; also originally drive to farmyard from north.
