Historic farm group. The main house retains its historical proportions and character with some historic features remaining. The outbuildings which contribute to the group are that to the south east and the pigsties.

The property is accessed via a long entrance driveway (chasse).

La Chasse emulates the polite architecture of Georgian fashion [1]but with a continuing local character. The house is shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

McCormack identifies 16th century build phase. The main house pre-dates 1795. Farm buildings mainly 19th century. Extensions added in 20th century. Extension added in 21st century.

St Mary Treasury

The 1983 parish treasury records that the owner at the time believed that the house began as a two-room cottage. 'The internal doors support the theory. This is a secluded house.'
