  • Renouf: In 1944 the Germans requisitioned part of La Gallierie's pasture land for the construction of a gun emplacement. Raymond George Renouf (1902- ) was living there with his wife Lilian, nee Payn (1902- ), daughter Marguerite Lilian (1927- ) and son John Raymond (1930- ). Raymond Renouf was the 2x great-grandson of Nicolas Renouf, who had alterations made to the house in 1815

The farmhouse retains its fine early 19th century stonework, its historic proportions and character and some historic features remain internally and externally. The small farm group retains its own integrity.

Early 18th century origins with 1815 alterations. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
